Day 49, 2023: Gone Catfishing

It’s Saturday night and what could be better than hanging out with the family and going catfishing.

It’s not what you think.

Today we salute one great human being, 39th President of the United States of America, James Earl Carter.

Thank you, President Carter for being a beacon for humanity.

ATLANTA (Feb. 18, 2023) — After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers.

Day 48, 2023: Meow and Meow!

I did watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania last night. Overall, I feel vindicated for saying that most Movie Critics exist because they need to be ignored. I would definitely watch the movie again.

Today I visited some of my favorite cats. Biggie T. Cat is still recovering from the illness, and I won’t get into the details.

I’m working on an M2 MacBook Air today, testing some applications compatibility with macOS Ventura. I did not find any showstoppers.

Day 47, 2023: Appetite for Distraction

I finished work for the day much later than I usually do and I have an appetite for distraction. I decided to go to movies for some late night showing. Apparently there’s a new Marvel movie out tonight.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania officially opens on February 17, 2023. As always, I’m disregarding movie critics, amateurs and professionals alike.

Let’s see how it goes.

P.S. Critics are so pedantic!

Day 46, 2023: Going to the Car Wash

We’re about halfway into the first quarter of 2023. I had been avoiding the news for a few days and I’m sure something happened today; I’ll look it up later.

I went to fuel up my car and get my car washed. Gasoline price is still hovering around $4.50 – $5.00 USD per-gallon in my area. For some reasons, one of the major fuel station has much lower pricing than others. I paid $3.99 per gallon there.

Day 45, 2023: Happy Wiring Day

I ended up spending extra time at the office dropping a few Ethernet cables because some of the ports were no longer gigabit compliant.

I also found out the thermostat is acting up. I’d be replacing the thermostat soon.

Oh well… but we had “our day” early in the morning.

Day 44, 2023: What Packaging?

A lot of time we have to wonder why our Amazon.com order is packed inefficiently. Is it because they need to ship as many orders as possible?

Oh, that is the aptly named Seven Inches of Satanic Panic vinyl by Ghost.
